Rule 112
Editing and Publishing Committee
(1) There will be an editing and publication committee in the court to determine the policy and monitor the various publications made by the court and its editing.
(2) The constitution of the committee as per sub-rule (1) shall be as follows:-
(a) Judges of Courts designated by the Chief Justice – President (b) such other Judge-Members of the Court as the Chief Justice may require (c) Chief Registrar – Member (d) Registrar - Member (e) one Deputy Attorney General appointed by the Attorney General – Member (f) President of Nepal Bar Association or an officer designated by the association one person - member (g) The President of the Supreme Court Bar Association or an officer appointed by the Association shall be one member. (h) one law teacher affiliated to an institution for the teaching of law designated by the Chief Justice - member
(j) Sub-Registrar appointed by the Chief Registrar -Member-Secretary (3) The term of office of the member as per clause (g) of sub-rule (1) shall be one year.
(4) In the meeting of the committee according to sub-rule (1), the relevant department heads and branch heads can be invited.
(5) The work, duties and rights of the committee under sub-rule (1) shall be as follows:-
(a) Editing and publication of Nepal Law Gazette, Supreme Court Bulletin,
(b) To edit and publish the subject precedents of the court, the quality judgments of the district court and the high court and other necessary books and booklets,
(c) English translation and publication of important judgments of the Court,
(d) Formulate the necessary policy regarding the sale and distribution of publications from the court.
